The youth in a society is it's future. A youth iis the key player in the nature of the society. He has a key role in the way the society works. The society has been in the changing very rapidly. In today's time, there has been an increase in addictions amongst the youth and the teens. This includes games, phone and many others. But the most common amongst the youth is alcoholism. It is considered to be very cool and a status symbol amongst them. It is an addiction which is responsible for many effects and consequences faced by the society.
The youth getting into alcoholism could be due to his peer group and friends. It could be due to the environment around him: his family, hhis living conditions and the people around him. Having alcoholism over time leads to it's addiction. It leads to such a great extent of it, htat a person feels that he can't live without it. It leads to a widespread consequence in the society. It is responsible for increasing accidents on the roads. Drink and drive is a common thing in today's time. It is also responsible for poverty, bad living conditions and miserable living conditions. It is to a great extent, responsoble for increasing violence within people.
It is very necessary that a solution should be found to this problem. The youth should be made aware and be educated about the harmful effects of alcoholism. It is neccessary that government not only make laws, but implement them strictly and with great caution. The practice of drink and drive should be serious punishable offence. Alcoholism is not only responsible for a person taking his own life, but sometimes, destroys the other person's life completely. It leads to an imbalance within the society. It is this youth who will be the next future of our country and thus, it makes it very important that alcoholism and problems llike this need to be brought to an end and eradicated freom the society.
