Choosing to attend college was one of the most important decisions I have ever made. I chose to attend college to increase my knowledge, find a career, and to make difference in society. By pursuing a degree in college I am trying to set myself up for future success. In order to be qualified in my desired profession I must obtain a four year college degree. This requirement pushes me to expand my knowledge through all of the general education requirements. In return I end up having a strong background on information applicable to my career. As soon as I begin my career exploration outside of college I will be prepared because of the education I have received. When classes start for my desired major I will have a rigorous course schedule to teach me everything I need to be ready for my job. College is a place for young individuals to decide where they desire to take their life. Classes tend to give students a broad idea of what they are passionate about or find interesting.
