Nowadays, it's normal to see people paying attention to how they look, how their bodies look, and mostly how their faces look. And these all come from the word 'beauty. Even if it's a flower, painting, or the structure of some huge building, etc., the word 'beauty' is always used as a rare property of these things.
But here the question comes that what does beauty even means, or what it shows when something/someone is called 'beautiful' ?.
The reality of the sense of beauty by fundamental perspectives of logic -
It's usual to feel that word 'beauty' displays something rare/different about the shape of things. Now the cause of shapes belongs to geometry so let's take this from a mathematical perspective.
So let's say there's a fine circle and an irregular shape. Now -
1. The circle has the property that - every point situated in its circumference has the same distance from its center. And -
2. The irregular shape has the property that - there's no special relationship between the points of the shape. Every point is situated in a rare position.
So now, if I ask that '
which shape is the rarest one,' then what should be the answer? The answer will always be '
none of them because both of the shapes are rare in their own way. Even every shape can be defined by a single
mathematical equation.
So the conclusion is that 'something like 'beauty' universally doesn't exist. Everything is rare in its own way; just every brain is not able to sense it.
If there's nothing like Beauty, then why do we feel that there is? -
This can be the first question for most people after knowing the reality of beauty. And like most of the human senses, the answer to this question is based on the way our human mind works.
With thousands of years of experiences and observations the human mind had covered, the unique thing we have developed is understanding patterns in nature and its things. It's unforgettable that we couldn't rise as a civilization without having the sense to understand patterns more than any of the other living beings.
And this is why 'patterns' became the closest things that the human mind can sense, which caused a dominance in the human mind for patterns, making us like things that show patterns in themselves. And the cause of infinite things exists in the form of regular shapes that shows patterns in themselves. Therefore human mind considers 'regularity' as 'beauty.
This means we sense beauty because of the partial balance between the sense of 'patterns' and 'nonpatterns' in our human mind.
Beginning of the universal human way of thinking and the extinction of the sense of beauty -
In the present time, the human mind has an 'imbalanced way of thinking. which makes us unable to think deeply and generally about the reality of things, including 'beauty.'
But in the future, when the human mind will start to think with 'universal logic,' then the dominance of patterns in the human mind will be no more existing. And therefore, the sense of beauty in the human mind will automatically disappear.
