Who do you know about the variants of plants ???

Do you know the variants of plants ?? Let us go to learn something....

Naturally, every plant creates many elements to perform its functions. Such as roots, leaves, stem, flower etc

The root of the plant helps to absorb water and minerals in the soil.

The leaves help in photosynthesis using the sunlight.

The stem helps to receive sunlight and transfers water from the root to the leaves.

🎊 Some plants with roots and stem leaves perform some important functions such as storing food, providing evidence and protection and some another reasons. Thus, changing their design is what we call alternatives.

  1. Root Alternatives: -

Some plant roots are small. So, it  has some different functions. So, it becomes a food storage organ.  So are thick and plump.

Radish radial form is rooted.

Beetroot has a deep tap root.

Carrots have a conical root.

The Banyan tree has pillar roots.  These emerge from the horizontal branch and grow like tentacles. That is  vertically towards the earth.  It helps the tree to stay afloat.

Sugarcane, maize etc. have prolific roots.  These give stability to the plant.

🎊 Betel have a deciduous root.

Plants like Avinicia have respiratory roots.  These facilitate gas exchange. These roots are called breathing roots.

Plant, such as Cúcuta, live by absorbing nutrients by penetrating through its absorbing roots continuously from living plants.

  2. Shaft modifiers: -

 a. Ground surface:-

Water-saving plants in arid conditions have plump stems and thorny leaves to produce food by photosynthesis.

  b. Ground stem:-

The stem bark of plants such as oleander. If the stem is broken, new roots and leaves are formed in it.

Plants such as wild strawberries have a stem called stolen.  The stem spreads to the ground and touches the soil to form a new plant.

In plants, like chrysanthemum,  small branches grow upwards and form a new plant.

Plants like Onion Lotus reproduce by breaking leaves and branches and breaking off the stem.

 c. Ground shaft: -

Plants such as ginger and turmeric have a stem.  It grows horizontally under the ground without form.  The buds on the stem germinate and form new stems.

Plants such as sweet potato and tuber have an underground stem. It is a short stalk with one or more buds appearing on the scaly leaves to form a new plant.

Potato-like stems are formed under food storage.

Plants like onion and garlic have bubble-like leaves.

 Alternatives to leaves: -

The leaves of chapati plants turn into thorns and photosynthesize.

Plants like peas have vines and leaf segments that become long cords.

The leaf stalk of an acacia plant forms a spreading leaf-like structure which performs the function of photosynthesis.

The leaves of a plant, like Nepenthe, turn into vases which attract insects and small animals which feed on insects and get nitrogen from them.

Every plant has alternative root, stem, leaves etc. It is  god's creature, We help us to grow the plants. Tree helps us to give healthy life. Save the Tree, Save Earth, Save future generations.
