Do you know the details of how the earth formed?

The only place we are currently aware of where there are living things is our home planet, which is the third planet from the Sun. Earth is the only planet in our solar system having liquid water on its surface, while being only the fifth-largest planet overall. Earth is the largest of the four planets nearest to the Sun, all of which are composed of rock and metal, and is only slightly larger than adjacent Venus. Our planet's past is shrouded in mystery. Although water, volcanoes, and even meteorites striking Earth have been observed by scientists, none of these phenomena can be used to explain how Earth came into being. Although Earth has always existed, scientists are unsure of its exact beginning. They estimate the formation of Earth to have occurred roughly 4.5 billion years ago, but they are unsure of its origin. 

Our solar system had no sun, earth, or the moon a billion years ago. According to scientists, all that was left was a cloud of icy dust particles traveling through space. The explosion of a far-off star upon its demise, known as a supernova, is the most likely cause of this cloud of gas and dust being disturbed. The dust cloud was brought together by gravity after the supernova collapsed. It then changed into a solar nebula, which is a huge rotating disc. The nebula's speed increased as the cloud spun faster because more gas and dust accumulated in the center. At the nebula's core, hydrogen atoms started to form as the movement picked up. As the hydrogen atoms began to fuse, helium was created. The Sun, the enormous, blazing ball that is the source of light and life, was created by nuclear fusion at the cloud's core. The solar system's Sun was the first object to emerge. Let's now explore the solar system's past.

How did the Earth form?

More than half of the stuff in the nebula was used up during the Sun's creation. The remaining stuff began to group and form various masses after the Sun was formed. As the cloud continued to spin, particles smashed against one another. The planets we know today, including Earth, were formed when some of those matter clusters grew large enough to support their gravitational attraction. The Earth's rocky core first formed as a result of heavy components interacting and coming together. Lighter matter created the planet's crust, while denser matter sank to its core.

The planet was inhospitable when it first formed. Scientists claim that molten lava covered the majority of the Earth's surface. At that time, it was also devoid of atmosphere. After a few hundred million years, the globe started to cool, which sparked the development of oceans made of liquid water. The heavier elements started to move toward the planet's core through the oceans and magma. Earth is thus divided into layers, with the topmost layer being made up of a solid, relatively lighter covering while the denser, molten material submerged in the planet's core. 

Microorganisms began to proliferate on the surface of the Earth over a billion years after it was formed. Some of the bacteria engaged in photosynthesis, which helped oxygen start to appear in the planet's atmosphere. And as a result of billions of years of evolution, Earth is today the only planet that is known to support life, including humans and other animals.
