In this article, I will tell you, The meaning and significance of the end of prophethood and the characteristics of this position along with the purity of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in 3 clear points.
The meaning of the end of prophecy The importance of belief at the end of the forecast.
Characteristics of the end of prophethood.
1. Belief at the end of prophethood is one of the collective beliefs that are part of Islam's principles and religious requirements.
Since the time of prophethood, every Muslim has believed that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) They are the last of the prophets.
We understand this on three grounds.
A. One hundred verses of the Holy Qur'an.
B. Proof of this is from more than two hundred hadiths of the Holy Prophet (saws).
C. The first consensus of the Ummah of the Holy Prophet (saws) was on this issue.
Imam-ul-Asr Hazrat Maulana Syed Anwar Shah Kashmiri writes in his last book "Khatam-un-Nabiyyin" that :
The first gathering in this ummah was on the murder of Musalma al-Kadhab, the cause of which was her claim to prophethood.
What is more, since then, the claimant has always been unanimous on the end of prophethood, disbelief, and apostasy, and no details of prophetic legislation have ever been discussed.
Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Idrees Kandhalvi has written in his book Musk Al-Khatam Fi Khatam Nabuat Syed Al-Anam that:
The first consensus in the Muhammadan Ummah was on the issue of killing the claimant of prophethood.
The total number of Companions who were martyred in all the battles fought for the protection and defense of Islam in the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is 259.
In the history of Islam, to protect and defend the belief at the end of prophethood, a battle was fought against Musalma Kadhab in the field of Yamama in the Siddiqui era.
The number of Companions and followers who were martyred in this one battle is 1200.
The most valuable asset of the life of Rehmat-ul-Alam (peace be upon him) is the Companions Rizwanullah (peace be upon him), a large number of whom were martyred for the protection of this faith.
Consider the martyrdom of Hazrat Habib bin Zaid Ansari Khazraji, one of his companions.
Hazrat Habib bin Zayd Ansari was sent by the Holy Prophet (saws) to Musalma Kadhab of the Yamamah tribe of Banu Hanifa.
Musalma Kadhab said to Hazrat Habib Riz, "Do you testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah?" Hazrat Habib Riz said yes,
Muslima Kadhab said, "Do you testify that I am also the Messenger of Allah?" Hazrat Habib Riz said, "I am deaf, and I cannot hear you."
Muslima kept asking the same question over and over again, he kept giving the same answer, and Musalma kept cutting off each of his limbs until he martyred Habib Riz by cutting him into pieces.
From this, it can be deduced how the Companions were concerned with the greatness and importance of the end of Prophethood.
