Anecdote of Dr. Mokshagundam Vishaweshraiya's life.

A train was running at a high speed. The train was full of British.
An Indian was also sitting in a compartment of the same train along with the British.

The compartment was packed full of British.
They all kept making fun of that Indian.

Some were saying, look who sat in the sample train, while some were laughing seeing their dress and calling them illiterate.
Some were so angry that they were cursing the train and shouting, why did they allow an Indian to board the train? Take it out of the box.

But it had no effect on the person wearing dhoti and Kurt ta, black coat and turban on his head.
He was sitting with a calm and serious attitude, as if engaged in some uproar.

The train was running at a fast speed, and the ridicule and insult of the British continued at the same speed.
But suddenly the man got up from the seat and shouted loudly, "Stop the train". Before anyone could understand anything, he started the train.

Pulled the chain. The train stopped. Now it is as if the British got angry.

Everyone was abusing him.
He was showering all the words that were in the dictionary, illiterate, illiterate.

But that person was standing calm in a serious posture.

As if someone's talk is not affecting him.
His silence was increasing the anger of the British.

The guard of the train came running. Asked in a harsh voice, "Who stopped the train".

Along with the guard, that person and some English riders also went along.
Even on the way, the British were leaving no stone unturned to lash out at him.
But everyone's eyes widened when, in fact, the track was broken around the mentioned distance.
Nut-bolts were open.
They started looking at him more curiously, as if asking how did you come to know all this from such a distance??..

The guard asked :- How did you know, the tracks are broken??.
He said :- Sir, people were busy in their respective works in the train.

At that time, my attention was focused on the speed of the train. The train was running at a natural speed.

But suddenly I felt a change in its speed due to the vibration of the track. This happens when the track is broken at some distance.

So without losing a moment, I pulled the chain to stop the train.

The guards and the Englishmen standing there were stunned.
The guard asked, such fine technical knowledge! You do not look like an ordinary person.
Please introduce yourself. The person replied very politely :- Sir, I am Indian Engineer "Dr. Visvesvaraya".

That extraordinary person was none other than  "Dr.Visvesvaraya".
