Very few people adapt to their spiritual health, which can have a significant impact on the overall health of the mind and body. Spirituality is unique to each person. It can be compared to traditional religions such as Christianity, Hinduism or Buddhism. It is also manifested in personal relationships or at the level of development of living in peace with nature.
People who have nothing to do with their spiritual needs usually experience deep sadness, depression, intense anger, fear, anxiety and grief. These negative feelings can create an environment for the dysfunction of emotional, physical and mental health. People who are subjected to repeated physical and mental curse carry with them an injured and broken heart, as if tormented by the hardships and sufferings of life. They do not realize that their heavy heart affects their well-being or quality of life. Denying the depth of the crisis can exacerbate the condition and lead to serious heart conditions and diseases.
Recent studies have shown a link between depression and anxiety and the development of cardiovascular disease. These are considered to be equal risk factors for high cholesterol and diabetes. According to research, patients with depression are twice as likely to die of heart attack problems as those without depression. Some experts even suggest that depression and anxiety should be classified as new risk factors for developing heart disease.
Lonely and unfriendly people are more prone to illness, heart disease and have a shorter life expectancy compared to those who provide emotional and moral support. As noted by Dean Ornish, M.D., a respected cardiologist at the University of California, San Francisco, there seems to be a direct link between illness and lack of love. Documented in research studies conducted.
Scientists discovered a few years ago that inflammation of the coronary arteries plays a role in clogging the arteries with cholesterol. The two most successful heart medications, beta-blockers and ACE inhibitors, work on hormone levels, reducing the effects of adrenaline when we are upset, nervous or experiencing stress and fear. These drugs are no less than a miracle, reducing the probability of death by 30 percent.
However, there are many patients who do not respond properly to medication due to mental and physical disorders. This is where alternative therapies like meditation, prayer or psychotherapy come into play.
Such meditation therapy is called Sufism or Practice Remembrance - it is well known in the West through the ancient spiritual practice and Rumi poetry that originated in Islam. Sufism focuses on the many practical and effective methods of healing the heart, from the simplest and most wonderful way to open a person to the healing rays of love.
Memory practice is a seasonal method of healing that uses a combination of breath and sound to open the heart to greater love. The feeling of love that you will remember when you use this method. For many spiritual groups, the concepts of love and God are interchangeable. For Sufis, the practice of remembrance is the repetition of the name of God in many traditions or cycles. Every time the name of God is repeated, love flows into the heart. It is a continuous, repetitive process that has the power to cleanse the heart from all negative vibrations and the burden it carries. But it is important to visualize the entry of love or spirit into the heart while repeating the sound.
Spiritual health means searching for meaning in your life and living with the cause and purpose of your existence.
