Although the score was good, a certain Glenn Maxwell could have snatched the match from India; however, Dhoni had other ideas. He brought Yuvraj in the attack and effected a superb stumping to end the innings of attacking Maxwell. The stumping was brilliant as Dhoni took a fraction of the second to dislodge the bells.

2 )Jacob Oram in the first ODI in the India-New Zealand bilateral ODI series in 2009 -

It was the first ODI between New Zealand and India in Napier in March 2009. India scored 273 for 4 batting first. He demonstrated his perfect feeling of timing and canny sound judgment while disposing of New Zealand all-rounder Jacob Oram. Jacob Oram plainly edged a ball which Dhoni caught, yet to ensure the dismissal, he immediately stumped Oram out as he was out of his ground playing the stroke. 3) Mitchell Marsh — India vs. Australia 2nd T20I in 2012 T20 series -

In this match,, Dhoni baffled Mitchell Marsh off a stumping by Rahul Sharma by collecting the ball behind the wickets and taking the bails off in lightning speed. He managed to dislodge the bails in 0.09 seconds and set the record for the quickest stumping in the cricket history. It was simply remarkable and outstanding.

4) Ian Bell — India vs. England in the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy Final -

India scored 130 runs in the rain-influenced match, batting first in the Final of Champions trophy in England. The hosts began off well with the chase; however, Bell’s stumping was the defining moment in the match. Dhoni tranquility collected the ball, and when he saw Bell getting off-balance, he took the bails off in a flash to depart Bell.

This was sharp work from MS, and India went on to win the ICC champions trophy title largely because of the stumping.
