Annamalai (age 40) belongs to Melendapatti village next to Balakot in Dharmapuri district. farmer He has a son and 2 daughters. Meanwhile, daughter Abhinaya (19) was studying Diploma in Computer Science at Polytechnic College. Karimangalam Mukkulam, who was studying with her at that time, fell in love with Krishnan son Rangasamy (25) from Kotai Seegalaalli village, a gardener, and got married 7 months ago without knowing her home.
After that, the family seems to have accepted the marriage, but it is said that there was a disagreement between the husband and wife a month ago. Because of this, Abhinaya got angry with her husband and went to her father's house.
Investigation
Then the parents convinced and sent Abhinaya with her husband. Meanwhile, yesterday, a person from Seegalaalli village informed their parents that Abhinaya had hanged herself over the phone. Abhinaya's father informed the Annamalai Karimangalam police that he was suspicious of his daughter's death when Abhinaya's family went to the spot and found her lying with injuries on her neck.
The Karimangalam police have registered a case and are investigating. An inquiry has been ordered by the Assistant Collector into the death of the young woman after 7 months of marriage.

Tharsala was constructed on the west side of Dharmapuri railway station 16 years ago for goods vehicles and public use. Thousands of vehicles used to pass through this 2 km long road connecting Dharmapuri Pitamaneri-Vennampatty railway gate area. In this condition, the road has become bumpy and potholed without maintenance for 10 years.
There is a situation where most of the vehicles cannot pass on this road. Vehicular traffic passing through Vennampatti Railway Gate has increased manifold in the last few years.
Public impact
Vehicular traffic jams occur frequently on Dharmapuri Railway Station Road and Netaji Bypass Road due to lack of repair of Vennambatti Railway Gate-Pidamaneri link road. Due to this, people coming to Dharmapuri city area from various areas including Vennambatti, Housing Board Residence, Armed Forces Complex and those going from Dharmapuri city area to the above areas are often stuck in traffic jam.
Students who go to schools and colleges in the morning and those who go to various office work are affected by not being able to go on time. Similarly, hundreds of goods trucks coming to Vennampatti railway gate area to load goods from goods trains arriving at Dharmapuri railway station are also stuck in traffic jam. The demand for speedy repair of this link road has been continuously emphasized to solve this problem.
Traffic congestion will decrease

The main reason for frequent vehicular traffic jams in Dharmapuri city is the lack of maintenance of proper alternative roads. Especially if the link road from Pitamaneri to Vennambatti railway gate is repaired, this road will be used more by people coming and going to Dharmapuri city area. Due to this, there will be a possibility of reduction of vehicular traffic on Dharmapuri-Salem road. Accidents will also decrease. Action for this should be taken by the concerned department officials.
