Botha alias Raja (age 63) hails from Chellakuttapatti village near Bochampalli in Krishnagiri district. He has a daughter named Anita (21) and a son named Ajith. In this situation, Botha and Ajith came to Kaduur on a motorcycle on the day of the incident to attend an auspicious event at their relative's house. Botha and cousin Nagamani were sitting on the back of the motorcycle. Ajith drove a motorcycle.
At that time, when he came near the mound of the Kaliyamman temple near Irumathur, the rear tire of the motorcycle unexpectedly got punctured. As a result, Botha fell down and got seriously injured. Ajith and Nagamani escaped unhurt. Neighbors rescued Botha and admitted him to Dharmapuri Government Hospital for treatment. The doctors who examined there said that Botha was already dead. On the basis of the complaint given by Anita to Campinallur police, Inspector Senthilkumar of Campinallur police has registered a case and is investigating.

Revenue officials received information that illegal soil was being smuggled in a tipper lorry using a bogline machine in Vethalakkaran pit area near Nallampally. After that, the officials went to the spot and caught 2 people who were smuggling humic soil in a tipper lorry using a bogline machine. They then handed them over to the police.Based on the complaint, Athiyamankot police registered a case and arrested 2 people namely Bachiyappan (40) a lorry owner from Puravadai village and Sakthi (33) a bagline machine driver from Samishettipatti who had smuggled humus soil. Subsequently, the lorry and bogline machine were seized along with the humus.
