The word 'Cyber fraud' relates to internet fraud. Cyber fraud is the most common and threatening form of fraud that takes place internationally. Cyber fraud is the most common type of fraud, and individuals and organizations need to be vigilant and protect their information from fraudsters. The cyber-world is expanding. We now store more personal and financial information on the internet than ever, which has increased cybercrime. Cyber fraud crimes are increasing in severity.
Here, I have some examples that I have seen from the naked eye in society, and I had experienced the same:
- Some of the fraudsters called us, and they are trying to order some product from our company, for paying he\she shared a link, but sometimes it will become very harmful for us that they collect our bank details through there link and hacked our account wisely.
- Recently, one incident had seen women ordered burgers, losing RS 21,000 in cyber fraud in NOIDA.
- Some of the frauds also occur related to fake jobs; they get paid from you but didn't give you any guaranteed job; not every person was fake, but we should have to make proper decisions. And make sure that the company offers you a job, was trustable or not.
For sure, helpline numbers were available and customer-care service also running. They helped us, but the fraudsters do this very wisely; sometimes, they got caught but not every time.
So, We all should have to keep our safety properly, didn't trust everyone. Never shares our Bank details with a stranger.
