CSK Players Say Good Bye After Final Match of IPL 2022 what

The Chennai Super Kings played their final IPL 2022 match against Rajasthan Royals at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai earlier this week. However, it was not a happy ending for them as they lost by five wickets to finish their forgettable season with only four wins out of 14 games and eight points to their tally.

 

With their hopes of CSK’s title defense ending, this is only the second time in the history of the IPL that they did not make the playoffs, it was time to bid goodbye and all the players, coaches and support staff and they exchanged pleasantries for one last time before parting ways.

 

CSK posted to Twitter a video including batting coach Michael Hussey, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Shivam Dube seen signing a team jersey while a couple of them including New Zealand bowling all-rounder Mitchell Santner got their pictures clicked.

 

The cameras then focused on the captain MS Dhoni, Devon Conway, and Robin Uthappa. All the players were also seen taking selfies with each other and the support staff. The video ends with Mahendra Singh Dhoni signing his autograph on a bat.New Zealand and Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Kane Williamson and his wife Sarah Raheem became parents for the second time, as they got blessed with a baby boy. The Blackcaps batter took to his Instagram on Sunday and shared the good news with everyone. He posted a picture of his wife, holding their daughter, Maggie along with the newborn and captioned it," Welcome to the whanau little man!"

Many members of the cricket fraternity came forward and showered their blessing on Williamson's family through their comments on the post.

"Congratulations Kane Mama," commented Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan.

"Mashallah bro! May the whole family be showered with loads more happiness and blessings!" commented New Zealand spinner Ajaz Patel.

Meanwhile, SRH took to their Twitter and wrote, "Sending all of our love from the #Riser camp to Kane Mowa's family and their latest, cutest member."

Williamson had left the SRH camp on May 18 to be with his wife during the birth of their second child. In his absence, pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar led the team in the last league stage game of IPL 2022 against Punjab Kings on Sunday.

Williamson will now be seen in a three-match Test series against England, with the first match at Lord's on June 2.Right-handed batter Cheteshwar Pujara on Sunday was named in the India Test squad for the rescheduled fifth Test against England set to be played in July. Pujara recently represented Sus in County Championship Division 2 and registered 720 runs, including two double centuries. A day after his inclusion in the Test squad, Pujara told NDTV that he is glad to be selected for the match against England and is happy that his recent performances in the County Championship have been recognized.

"I am glad to have been selected for the England Test and happy that my recent county performances were recognized. Having spent some time in the middle during the county games, I do believe it will keep me in good stead as we get ready for the game against England," Pujara told NDTV on Monday.

"As always, looking forward to preparing and training well ahead of the tour, and do hope to continue contributing to the Indian team," he added.

Representing  Pujara scored four centuries with his highest score being 203 against Durham. He had also registered a double ton against Derbyshire.

He scored 109 against Worcestershire and 170 not out against
