What is cricket.

Well, cricket is the third most watched sport in the world. And it was originally founded by the British, it's more like  baseball but way more exciting for the fans who understand the game. The word gentlemen is used for it because in the early 18th century the true gentlemen used to play it, and also because of its detailed rules. The first official cricket match was played in 1884 between England and USA. At first, it had only one format which is called a test match but later ODI and T20 cricket was introduced by the ICC. In a cricket match there are two teams and both teams have 11 players so how it is played well.

There is a bowler and two batters in center there is a 22 yards pitch a bowler is allowed to bowl 6 bowls in each over and batter can change their positions between the pitch by taking a run and rest are the fielders, who stop the bowl from going to the boundary or catch it. At first a toss is conducted between both the teams, the winner of the toss choice if they wanna bowl or bat. One team gives a target of the runs and the other team try to chase it down, so the term out is used if a batter is caught or bowled. Behind the batter there are three wickets, if the bowl bowled by the bowler hit the wicket the batter is out or if the fielder catch the bowl hit by the batter while the bowl is in the air just like in baseball.

A wicket keeper is present behind the batter who stop the bowl when it comes to him.  At first only test format was used to be played but later on ODI was introduced which consists of 50 over each for the both teams in which they give target or chase the target down. T20 cricket was introduced in 2007,and it is most watched by the fans because of its excitement and its short length of matches just by the name of this format we get to know it is of 20 overs. Cricket is famous in the countries which were under the rule of the British.  Because people used to see them play this game. But now ICC is introducing it to the world an umpire is also present in a cricket match he decides whether the batter is out or not but, the bowling side has to appeal him. Or they can take a review if they disagree with his decision. A WORLD CUP is conducted in every four or two years between all the cricketing nations, just like a FIFA WORLD CUP. League cricket was later introduced, in which teams of a country plays. Some of the most famous cricketers in the history are Imran khan from Pakistan, Kamil dev from India, DON brad man from Australia, Sir Richards from west indies and many more now days it's just a money game as more sponsors come to invest in cricket overall it is an exciting game, and it is very famous in Third World countries.
