As we look at era of fabulous four of Icricketers of India, we came across the name the legend of Indian cricket,the Royal Bengal tiger & a successful captain of team India i.e.sourav Ganguly
As player we can see that sourav Ganguly as a stylish left handed batsman with all sort of great command over off side cricketing shots ,As he made the cricket debut in 1991 through Australian tour in odi format but that was just the start that any player want to forget because his scores was not promising whenever he got opportunities in the tour so as end result of that he lost his place from national side for longer period of 5 years,as this downfall Dada used this as challenge as reinvented himself through consistent performance at domestic level and as result of this he was again selected for Indian team for the tour of England in June 1996.
As whole world has been recognized as good batsman in his debut test at Lord's where he scored memorable innings of 131 and certainly nthis inning help him to fix his spot for Indian cricket team this tour was made evolution of Dada s cricket career after this consistent performance made him one the finest opening batsman around globe,also when he was elected as Indian cricket team captain zone of uncertainty was more around Indian team following the circumstances under which he was appointed as captain but that the determination ,,faith,&rare ability of fighting back to opposition made Indian side as prominent and dominant one as he took charge India found some diamonds who mark their presence for long time over global cricket such as virendar sehwag, harbhajan Singh,yuvraj Singh,zaheer Khan, Ashish nehra and last but not list M.S.DHONI .As we see the Indian cricket team now stands where the foundation was made by Ganguly.
So in the conclusion of this article it is not exaggeration to mention that contribution of Dada for Indian cricket valuable rather priceless.
