Compared to Spiderman: No Way Home and Avengers: Infinity War, Avatar: The Way of Water Box Office Collection Day 1 won the title of Best Opening Day of the Year ? how?

According to multiple media reports, the second part of the visual extravaganza Avatar grossed around Rs 400 crore on its opening day in India.

 In doing so, it easily surpassed "Spider-Man"'s opening day numbers. No Way Home" and "Avengers: Infinity War”. The movie 'Spider-Man' grossed his Rs 3.2 crore on its first day while 'Infinity War' grossed his Rs 3.1 crore on its first day.

However, `Avatar: The Way of Water' could not beat 'Avengers: Endgame' which stands tall with opening figures of a whopping Rs 53 crore in India.

 Avatar: Way of Water was released 13 years after the first part of the franchise hit theaters in his 2009. The creators have also hinted at a sequel to the lineup, raising fans' excitement and anticipation.

 Produced on a huge budget, Avatar: The Way of the Water revolves around the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their children). The film shows how Jake and his wife survive danger, protect their family, and fight to survive in tragedy. Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, Jemaine Clement, and Kate Winslet in major roles.

During its theatrical release, the film broke several box office records, becoming the highest-grossing film at the time and in the United States and Canada, surpassing Cameron's Titanic, which held these records for 12 years. Avatar remained the world's highest-grossing film for nearly a decade before being overtaken by The Avengers.

 Endgame wrapped up in 2019, but Avatar's re-release in China has put the movie back on top of the global charts for March 2021.  Adjusted for inflation, Avatar is the second highest-grossing film of all time, behind only Gone with the Wind, making him over $3 billion. It was also the first movie to gross over $2 billion and was the top-selling video title in the United States in 2010.  Avatar earned him nine Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director, and won him three awards for Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography, and Best Visual Effects. did.
