If you are lucky enough to live in a community with a community college, you should set aside time schedule to see what kind of classes they can offer to help improve your education and your life. You may be surprised to find a wide variety of courses you can take, even at the community college level. I know I found some courses offered and the amount of learning to be very interesting. I think many who have neglected in the past the important role that community colleges play in providing affordable space for learning will be very surprised.
Community colleges have a reputation unworthy of inferiority, which can no longer be true. Nurses from many countries are products of community college education. In many states, Associates undergraduate nursing programs are more rigorous and offer more clinical experience than most undergraduate nursing programs. This means that students graduating from the School of Nursing are more likely than students with a ‘higher degree’ to graduate from Associates in Nursing to deal with patient care. This is by no means the case with P.S. Nursing is not meant to demean students. In fact, most hospitals will not consider you a candidate for an administrative nursing position unless you have a bachelor's degree. This is only to point out that despite the common misconceptions, Associates degrees are highly competitive and inclusive.
For the first two years of your education, there are definitely other benefits to learning at the community college level. One of those benefits that speaks to me is that teachers in community colleges are dedicated to teaching. They did not work on their own research or books. They are there to help you achieve your goals, which means you are not interfering in achieving their own goals.
Community colleges provide excellent buffers for students who did not excel academically in high students returning to college after a long absence from education. You will not find large auditorium classes at the community college level, which are popular at large universities. You will also find that teachers do not have time for students. Community colleges have a low teacher-students and professors have time to talk about student needs.
Another benefit is that even if you do not receive your four-year degree after completing your community college education, you will find that your earning potential is significantly improved over those without at least two years of college education. Research shows that students who complete a two-year degree in community college are more likely to complete a four-year degree and a four-year degree than those who begin a four-year university with academic experience.
There are some issues related to community college education that you need to keep in mind so that they do not become a problem for you. First, some universities do not accept many courses offered at the community college level as transfer credits. You may also find that you are limited in the courses you can take and the hours they are available. Make sure you have all the defined courses already in place.
On the whole, community college education is as enlightening as university education if it enters the process with an open mind and desire to learn. I hope you will take advantage of this very affordable option before going to possible
