I have traveled to Dubai and Abu Dhabi and met with Ministers, Government officials and heads of large corporations in the country. The United States' largest financial management companies, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi, have come forward to invest in renewable power generation projects in Tamil Nadu, small port development, food processing and industrial parks. I have made it clear that there is a conducive environment for business investment in Tamil Nadu.
Everyone there praised me for the favorable conditions that exist in Tamil Nadu and help to start a business, and have praised Tamil Nadu as a whole. Now 6 biggest deals have been signed.
Subsequently, several more contracts are expected to be signed in the coming months. I invite everyone I meet to visit Tamil Nadu. Their visit is sure to lay the foundation for the development of Tamil Nadu.
The textile, medical services, food processing and iron ore sectors will definitely grow. In that sense, the trip to Dubai has laid a creative foundation for the development of Tamil Nadu. Similarly, the industry officials who can assist our Minister of Industry have taken all our problems there in a very special way. I owe it all to appreciation at this time.
Further, steps will be taken to attract more investment from both the countries through the Guidance Bureau, which will operate under the Industrial Sector in Tamil Nadu.
‘Paper Ships’ Under the last #AIADMK regime, all #MoUs were paper ships. The deal was struck and fixed. But we have a deal. More importantly, those companies will come here and take steps to start the business, expedite it, and we will have a Dashboard in the Chief Minister's office on a monthly basis to inspect it and create a good environment to start the business ahead of schedule. We are going to create employment. I have issued this order to all the officers who came with me.
