Affirmative to Negative :
Rule 1: Sentences with Only/ Alone :
(a) Only/ Alone for the person: If there is only / alone in affirmative Sentences, which refers to a person, then when you will change it into Negative Sentence, you should use None but at the beginning of the Negative Sentence.
Example :
1. Aff: He lives alone in the house.
Neg: None, but he lives in the house.
2. Aff: Only the graduates should apply.
Neg: None, but the graduates should apply.
(b) Sentences with Only / Alone in Affirmative Sentences, which refers to a thing, in these cases, you should use Nothing but just at the place of only.
Example :
1. Aff: He liked only sweet.
Neg: He liked Nothing but sweet.
(c) Sentences with Only/ Alone in Affirmative sentences, which refers to any number; in these cases, you should use not more than/ not less than instead of only.
Example :
Aff: He was only 22
Neg: He was not more than / not less than 22.
Rule 2: Affirmative Sentences with Must. There are two rules to change it into Negative --
(a) You should use Can not but instead of Must
Example :
Aff: We must obey our parents.
Neg: We can not but obey our parents.
(b) You should use Can not help + Main Verb + ing
Example :
Aff: We must obey our parents.
Neg: We can not help obeying our parents.
Rule 3: Affirmative Sentences with " sometimes." We should use "do not always/ does not always instead of "Sometimes."
Example :
1.Aff: He sometimes comes here.
Neg: He does not always come here.
2. Aff: They sometimes come here.
Neg: They do not always come here.

Rule 4: Affirmative Sentences with "always." In this case, you should use "never" instead of "always," and you must use "Opposite Word."
Example :
Aff: He is always sincere.
Neg: He is never insincere.
Rule 4: Affirmative Sentences with "Every." Here are three rules to change it into Negative.
(a) You should use "There is no" instead of " Every" then you should put the word after every of the affirmative sentence, and you should also use "but "
after that. Please follow Example:
Aff: Every mother loves her child.
Neg: There is no mother but loves her child.
(b) in 2nd rule, You should use "There is no" instead of "Every" then you should use the word after "every" of an affirmative sentence, here you should also use " Who doesn't. " Follow the following Example.
Aff: Every mother loves her child.
Neg: No mother doesn't love her child.
(c) In 3rd rule, you should use just "No" instead of "Every." But in this rule, you must use the "Opposite Word."
Aff: Every mother loves her child.
Neg: No mother hates her child.

1. Aff: Everybody hates a liar.
Neg: Nobody loves a liar.
2. Aff: Everybody should admit the truth.
Neg: Nobody should deny the truth.
3. Aff: Every Patriot loves his country.
Neg: Rule 1: There is no patriot, but he loves his country.
Rule 2: No patriot doesn't love his country.
Rule 3: No, patriot hates his country.
