What Is the Difference Between Resistive and Capacitive Touch Technology in Uart LCD Displays?

 

Resistive and capacitive touch technologies are commonly used in UART LCD displays, each with distinct characteristics. Resistive touch screens consist of multiple layers that register touch through pressure, making them compatible with any input device, such as a stylus or gloved finger. They are generally more affordable but less durable and offer lower clarity. Capacitive touch screens, on the other hand, use a conductive layer to detect touch through the electrical properties of the human finger. They provide higher clarity, better durability, and support multi-touch gestures, but require direct skin contact or a specialized stylus.
