Alice E-Plane

          The world's first electric passenger plane, Eviation company's 'Alice' electric plane, successfully took off in Washington State, USA. The eight-minute spin test was conducted at a height of 3,500 feet in the air, and the successful trial has shown that electric aircraft can be as safe for passengers as conventional aircraft.

 

 

          Eviation Alice is an unmanned aerial vehicle that can fly up to 250 miles on a single charge. Apart from this, Alice can carry two pilots and nine passengers. It has no need for ground control stations or airports, which makes it a cheaper and more efficient way to travel.

 

 

          As battery technology continues to advance, electric airplanes are the only option. If there will be a state of wanting to fly in the sky, then the first flight will be eviation's Alice.

          Hydraulic pumps are both engine-driven and electrically driven for redundancy. Some airplanes have a ram air turbine that is lowered when electrical power is lost to provide a backup to power a hydraulic pump and limited electrical generator.
