BUILDERS OF THE PYRAMIDS

For centuries the Egyptian Pyramids were considered as an example of human dignity or of taking terrible labor from the poor and helpless people. It's really a fact that History Repeats itself.

The purpose of my writing is not to criticize any country's policy, but to illuminate the hearts of those who understand humanity and conscious about it, recognizing the poverty that is hidden behind the colors and the glory of this world. The title images of this article are from the magnificent buildings of Dubai, United Arab Emirates ( UAE ), and the poor labors who built these Pyramids ( Sky Towers ) of The 21st Century.

Dubai is the fifth largest International Immigrant Stock in The World with 7.8 Million immigrants as the total population is 9.2 million. The Laws against discrimination in labor matters are very few, with the UAE workers being treated preferentially in terms of employment, although they are generally not interested in working. The Emirates and the Citizens of the developed countries are also paid more than the workers in other parts of the World. Long-Term immigrants are generally not granted Full United Arab Emirates Citizenship and are treated the same as those who are recently arrived.

Usually, Eight to Twelve workers live in a small room in Dubai, and they send a small portion of their Salary to households, which they do not see at a time in years. Local newspapers often tell stories of Construction workers who are reportedly not paid their salaries for months. They are not allowed to transfer their Jobs and if they leave home, they will surely waste their money, they must be paid. Most of the workers are forced to give up their passports after entering Dubai.

Due to the Discriminatory Legal System in Dubai and the recent mass incarceration of migrant workers, most of them are sent back to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and the Philippine, due to their protest against poor wages and housing conditions.

According to human rights organizations, The UAE Government Violates a Number of Basic Human Rights. There have been reports for forced disappearance in the UAE. Many foreign nationals have been abducted by the UAE government and illegally detained, Tortured in unknown places. In many instances, The UAE government detains people ( Especially Foreigners ) who are tortured and denied the right to a speedy trial and access to a Lawyer during a state investigation.

Before leaving for Dubai, for the purpose of employment, One should think Thousand of times. if one can keep himself away from his basic human rights, his legal status, his good income, then One must go to Dubai, Otherwise shall have a very low Salary, with the restriction that he can not visit his family for years with no passport in his pocket.
