Abbas told Blinken, "I have no words to describe the massacre and destruction our Palestinian people in Gaza have suffered at the hands of Israel's war machine, with no regard for the principles of international law."
President Abbas also said the Palestinian Authority could return to power in the Gaza Strip if there is a "comprehensible political solution" to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
