How is Big News! USA Visa Interviews Waived? H-1B, F-1, H-4, J, L, O Visas

I have some  big news for you a lot of these visa types if you are applying to go to the  in 2022 a lot of these visa types are having their visa interviews waived that means you may not actually need to take an interview part of getting to the  nowadays is to get an appointment just getting that appointment for your visa interview to even appear in front of the officer has been the hardest part of the job right  if you are applying for h1b h4 f1 l visas all other kinds of visas that we are going to be talking about in this video well you're the lucky one because you may actually not even need to take the interview now again it's a very important fact this is the official announcement that came out last night and  actually simplified it for you on this piece of paper with some very brief notes so that you can understand exactly what is going on without further ado let's find out if your visa interview is eligible to be waived or not now before we actually begin this whatever going to be discussing from now on is going to be regarding the h1 h3 h4 f m j l o p and q visa types notice that i said f visas that's students edge visa types you know h1 s3 h4 these are the temporary worker visa types right and their dependents of course so all of these visa types l visa types i know a lot of you guys are waiting for that one you know so you guys are actually in luck because this video is about you so is the visa interview wait for you let's go by three conditionals that will tell you if the visa interview is varied or not for your case the first is that your visa interview will be waived if well first off you should be applying from the country of your residence or nationality that means whichever passport you have or whichever basically place you are residing in you have pr over there you're applying from there okay so that's condition number one condition number two is that you should have been issued  visa type to the  before doesn't have to be the visa type that you're applying for it can be some other visa type as well maybe be one visa type that you previously had right you should have been given that visa type and that should have been approved in your case previously next you should have never been rejected a visa basically that you applied for unless of course you actually applied again you overcame that rejection somehow so that's an important point to note if you guys have been rejected you know even if you travel to the  before you will not be eligible okay please keep that in mind of course if you overcame that rejection in that case you are still eligible then you have no apparent ineligibility or potential in eligibility that means on the top of your application  bird's eye view there shouldn't be some apparent ineligibility now who will decide if you have something like that that's basically what brings us to the next point and that is that consular officers will have the discussion to waive the visa interview requirement that means it's completely in the consular officer's hands if they want they will wave it off for you if they don't want to wave it out for  you will have to appear for the interview please keep a note of that even if you satisfy all the above conditions it is still in the hands of the consular officers now that's the point number one let's move on to the point number two which basically is a separate  point again you are also eligible for a visa interview waiver if you're applying for the first time for any of these visa types the second is that your country is participating in the visa waiver program for all of you  watching this your country is not a part of the visa waiver program unfortunately you're not eligible for this condition of that means you cannot apply through an that is the electronic system that they have for travel authorization you're not eligible we're going to leave this point over here for the most part point number three if you do not fall into point one or point number two you still have to appear for the visa interview now i know this leaves a lot of people who are applying for the first time who have never traveled to the  and are from India or from a country which does not wave off the visa you know the visa waiver program they're not a part of it in that case you're gonna have to apply that means you're gonna have to go for a visa interview you're gonna have to be in that race for slots it's going to be just the same case for you guys there is one important rule over here one important exception regardless of your country for the most part and this is again mentioned on the official website  just citing from there okay regardless of your country again they don't mention the country over here that's why  telling you over here regardless of your country if you have been on a visa type  it's still within 48 months of the expiration of that visa you are also eligible for a visa interview waiver in that case again they don't they leave a lot of room for improvement over here we don't know if you know  you've been recently rejected you know you still qualify for this or not again that's something that we are excited to see in the future maybe they will actually apply this for your case maybe they won't again that's something that we will only find out with time because this is not mentioned with full clarity over here again one important point these conditions will remain valid till the end of 2022 okay we haven't quite seen what's going on as of now because there have been no changes made to the portal  this morning at least  what we're hoping is since this is till the end of 2022 maybe this is starting from the starting of 2022 so first January 2022 we're hoping to see some changes on the  federal portal hopefully it will help us secure more visas hopefully it will help students and h-1bs and all their dependents get to the  faster of course and of course we are hoping that this makes the process
