Big initiative on Kashmir, all-party meeting will be held on June 24 with Kashmiri parties under the chairmanship of Prime Minister 

Leaders like National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, J&K Apni Party's Altaf Bukhari, and People's Conference's Sajjad Lone will be sent formal invitations for the all-party meeting today.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi has called an all-party meeting with the leaders of Kashmir in Delhi on June 24.  This is being seen as a big start towards the political process in Kashmir.  Recently, the Gupkar Alliance of Kashmiri political parties said that they are ready for talks with the Center.

It is believed that this meeting has been called for discussion given the process of delimitation and the assembly elections to be held in the state.  In fact, when Article 370 was removed from Kashmir in August 2019, Modi

It was alleged by the government that this decision was taken forcibly without taking Kashmiri parties and leaders into confidence.  In this context, this initiative of Prime Minister Modi is being considered important.

A formal invitation will be sent today
 According to sources, leaders like National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, Jammu, and Kashmir Apni Party's Altaf Bukhari, and People's Conference's Sajjad Lone will also be sent formal invitations for this all-party meeting today.  Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will also attend this all-party meeting with Kashmiri leaders.  On the other hand, the leaders of the Gupkar Alliance will decide soon if the sources do not attend this all-party meeting of the government.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, by issuing a formal statement on the Government of Pakistan, it expressed its opposition to the intention of any change in Kashmir, on which the Government of India once again clarified that Kashmir is an internal matter of India in which Pakistan has nothing to do.

Corona Cases: Corona active cases lowest after 74 days, 1647 infected died in 24 hours

Now corona active cases in India have come down to less than 8 lakhs.  However, after America and Brazil, India has the highest number of active cases.  After Brazil, India is getting the maximum number of corona cases every day.

New Delhi: The second wave of Corona is slowly slowing down.  Now the active cases of coronavirus in the country are the lowest after 74 days.  For the fifth consecutive day, less than 70 thousand cases have come.  According to the latest data of the Ministry of Health, 60,753 new corona cases came in the last 24 hours and 1647 infected people have lost their lives.  On the previous day, 97,743 people have also been cured of corona i.e. 38,637 active cases have decreased yesterday.  Earlier on Thursday, 62,480 new corona cases were registered.

For the 37th consecutive day in the country, there have been more recoveries than new cases of coronavirus.  Till June 18, 27 crores 23 lakh corona vaccine doses have been given across the country.  33 lakh vaccines were administered on the last day.  At the same time, about 38 crores 92 lakh corona tests have been done so far.  About 19 lakh corona sample tests were done on the last day, whose positivity rate is more than 4 percent.
