Friends! I am from a small town in Pakistan. I am a small worker in a factory. My family is very small. I am my wife and two children, the elder son's name is ALI and the younger one is AHMAD. The elder son is in fifth class and the younger one is in third class. They go to school near home. I work as a watchman in a factory near the city. I am barely able to survive due to this inflation in the salary received from the factory. And because of this enormous inflation, every employee is worried. The price is talking to the sky. If you take ghee, you will run out of flour, if you take flour, pulses and vegetables will not come, if you take pulses and vegetables, you will not be able to get milk for children. In short, inflation has made it impossible for everyone to live. Electricity bills are coming from above, but the thing called electricity is unable to come, there is no electricity for many hours during the day and night. The children cry because of the heat, TO whom the children's mother comforts them, saying that it will be one hour and then the electricity will come. Then why should 1 hour not be as long as two hours. IT was last year that the big EID was coming, the sounds of goats were echoing. After all, children are children, children do not know how difficult their parents are living in this era of inflation. I asked Baba, we will also take the goat. Ahmed said that I will also take it around the street like other children. ALI said that I will apply henna to the goat. And I shook my head in response to them, what would have said that Baba's house does not have so much money! Every day, when he would return home from work, the first mention from the children's mouths would be about the goat, saying, "Baba, are we going to get goats?" ALI said, Baba, everyone in the neighborhood has goats in their houses. The residents of the neighborhood roam the streets with their goats all day long and keep opening with them. I said, "Good son, if we get money, we will buy a goat and new dress for your EID." I went to the manager of the factory and asked for one month's advance salary. The manager said that the owners are worried because of Covid, the factory is suffering. Hardly paying the salary of the employees. How can they give the advance? Covid, which spread like an epidemic in the whole world this year and many people were falling victim to it every day, but it was the grace of Allah that our country was not in the same condition as it was in other countries because of this corona. Exports and imports of all countries were stopped. After this reply from the manager, I quietly went back. The day of EID was approaching. But neither the children's clothes nor the goat could be bought! Where can I get children, chickens and goats in such high prices? I was very worried. I told my wife about the whole incident. She reassured me that you should not worry, Allah will make things better. I make some alterations to the old children's clothes, which will make the dress look like new to the children. While comforting the children, the moon came and the night came, but the goat did not come, every day someone used to make some excuse that there is no space in our house, where will we keep the goat? The children said that MOON didn't take the goat at night, we couldn't play with the goat in the street like other children or put henna on it, the children cried and fell a sleep. I didn't sleep the whole night. My wife used to sleep on the machine all night. She kept sewing the clothes. When the children saw the clothes in the morning, they were somewhat happy. I took the child and went to the EID to offer the EID prayer. On the way, the children were decorating their own goats. My children used to look at these goats with longing eyes and sometimes at me, I was stealing glances from these little innocents, every look from them was hitting my heart, but the children were going quietly. It was said that our father will not take the goat to us. After performing the EID prayer, I hurried home with the children. If someone asked me about the sacrifice in front of the children, what would I answer? So he quickly received EID from two or three people and went towards home. On reaching home, the wife started looking at him with questioning eyes, what to do now? Gave EID to the children and said, son, go and eat something from the shop, the children took the money and ran to the shop. I asked my wife that if the children do not want the sacrifice, what will they do if they ask for the meat of the sacrifice for some time? My wife advised us to send them to mother's house (in-laws) and everyone will enjoy EID. There will be a sacrifice. On this, I also showed my arrival, and after a while, the children also came with something. I told the children that you should come to the grandmother's house on the day of EID. I took them and walked towards stop. The bus drivers were taking extra money as EID. After making the children sit on the bus, I went to my job, thinking that if a fellow worker in the factory came from home and cooked the sacrificial meat, then I would also eat it. EID was congratulated by the employees who came on duty. Due to EID, people came very less because some left with today's leave and some got tomorrow's leave, I also got yesterday's leave. The second day of EID. After meeting everyone, I went to my point. I did my duty all day it was time for leave, but today no one brought food with them because everyone was saying that it is EID day, we will eat food with our children today. How to tell everyone that my house is empty. I picked up my bicycle and started towards home. I was very hungry when I reached home. I did not remember that there was nothing to eat in the house. When I came to know about the sacrificial meat, I consoled my heart that maybe the neighbors had come to give the meat, but there was no one at home, so they must have gone back. How do you ask for food from a neighbor's house? All the hotels in the market were closed due to EID. That night I kept looking at the sky and I didn't know what to look for, so much so that I fell a sleep and fell a sleep. On the morning of the second day of EID, I had OFF. I was alone at home waiting for some of the neighbors who would sacrifice today to come to give me raw or cooked EID meat. Then I will also eat the meat of the sacrifice. The afternoon passed, when no one knocked, I realized that no one would come, so I took out my bicycle and went to the market, maybe a hotel would be open. A hotel has opened near the bus stand.
