My email is full of seminar information about upcoming trade show plans. I'm like everyone else whose time is up. How can I increase my time on the show? How can I stay up-to-date with the latest developments?
Almost every trade event now has a concert song that works simultaneously. This is usually advertised well in advance so that you have time to register, and in most cases they can get a discount for early registration. In some cases the conference is in front of the actual show so as not to disturb the time in front of the audience. In any case it is wise to plan your conference schedule as soon as possible.
Look at your travel agenda and decide how much time you can set aside to attend the session / conference times. Update system information. In most cases there will be a very different selection of donations. Look to see who the session is aimed at. If your title or job description is listed, it means a good bet this is something you should go for. Look at the speakers and theirs
Companies, are these the people you want to meet? Can you benefit from their knowledge? It's easy to test your speakers by doing a GOOGLE search. Type the name of the presenters with quotes and see what happens.
Is the session introducing “new” things, or is it releasing “old” that hasn’t been a new idea in 20 years? Note: most conferences do not pay for speakers; they hope that companies will provide free speakers to advertise their products and services. It is therefore important to determine that
This “content” is worth your time or just “advertising company”. In my opinion, most of these times are not worth investing in your time. Also note the "free" times. Unless this is a “paid” professional hired to raise the audience, it is usually not worth the trip.
Can you access information or material in any other way? I know that for me when I talk based on the latest research, I respond to a report that can be purchased after the event. Many times you can find an article or a purchased report that covers the same topic as well. Look for informative sessions that you won't find in any other way or "starred"
Selection of presenters. If you are unable to attend a particular session, find out if it will be repeated or how to get information after the event.
See how long the session will be and at what time of day. Can you combine the session with your lunch break? Breakfast times are now very popular. Why not eat and learn at the same time? Is knowledge something that will benefit others in your organization? Get some brownie points by coming back with important details.
If you do not have a place to refer to it at any time, look to see who the sponsor is. Is it a reputable company or business organization that you respect? You can always call them and ask about the speakers or the event. You can even complain to them if the speaker is “a dog.” So any meeting you decide to attend should be sure and plan ahead and extend your time to the event.
please review my article and publish it as soon as possible
