China and America have been going head to head for decades, both in the realm of military technology and technology that helps the developing world. At times, the two countries have looked at each other as imperialist threats and economic competitors. China is the bigger economy and plays a huge role in global affairs, while America wants to play a greater role in the world. Hence, the two countries do not see eye to eye on matters of defense technology and trade.
