The top-tier Mac is supposed to use an M2 Ultra processor instead of the "Extreme" edition of the M2 chip that the tech giant Apple does not intend to use in its Apple Silicon Mac Pro.
According to AppleInsider, the Mac Pro is the final model in the whole Mac lineup that is not powered by an Apple silicon processor.
Although there have been rumors that the IT giant is developing one for release next year, it may not be as strong as first thought.
The 'M2 Extreme' chip, a more sophisticated variant of the Ultra chip that integrates two M2 Ultra chips onto a single silicon piece, was thought to be used in the model.
