An interview is a meeting between a person or a group or persons with another person with a view to assessing the suitability or otherwise of the latter in respect of certain aspects. That aspect may be to seek some solution of a commercial matter, processing admission into a club, an institution or a select body, or a for the purpose of selecting someone for a job. The aim of the interviewer is, therefore, to find out the merits of those interviewed in the light of his specific requirements.
