One of the brightest members of the group of stars known as Cepheid variable stars, RS Puppis, has been sonified and made available by NASA. This brilliant star, which is around 6,500 light-years away, is 200 times bigger than our sun and has an average intrinsic brightness that is 15,000 times higher.
