The rapidly expanding network of computing and communication technologies known as cyberspace has significantly changed our way of life. We now conduct a wide range of social, economic, and political transactions online, and as technology advances, so will their effectiveness and number. This study investigates the overlaps and conflicts between cyber security and privacy. It addresses how privacy and data protection concerns are also difficulties for cyber security, examines how privacy can be impacted by cyber security policy, and highlights how cyberspace governance and security is a global issue. Lastly, it lays forth significant policy directions in an effort to spark discussion about cyber security as a crucial component of online privacy protection. In today's fast-paced world, technology has become the driving force behind human behaviour and working methods across all industries. There is no aspect of technology that has been left untouched, therefore computers, information, and technology have supplanted manual intelligence with artificial intelligence in everyday tasks. Internet privacy is a contentious and unanswered issue in legal jurisprudence all around the world. In the new millennium, the power of a new mantra, namely information technology, has taken over the universe. The emergence of information in the midst of the Information and Communication Technology Revolution has startlingly elevated individual privacy to the top of the legal consciousness. It is questionable to what extent people in democratic countries would be prepared to give up their private information. However, it is the duty of the legal community to develop a sufficient policy to safeguard online privacy from cyber snooping, cyberstalking, corporate espionage, devastating cyber-attacks, and website vandalism. A re-examination of online privacy is called for as a result of significant and potentially unsettling implications of society's computerization.
