Azoospermia, the absence of sperm in semen, can be treated through medical, hormonal, or surgical methods depending on whether it’s obstructive or non-obstructive. In many cases, sperm can be retrieved directly from the testicles using procedures like TESE or Micro-TESE. Once viable sperm are collected, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) is often used to fertilize an egg, offering a strong chance of pregnancy. ICSI has proven to be a highly effective treatment option for men with azoospermia, especially when combined with advanced sperm retrieval techniques.
