There are several ways to take a screenshot on a Chromebook: 1) pressing the "Ctrl" and "Window Switcher" keys, 2) pressing the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys and then pressing the "Window Switcher" key and selecting an area with the crosshair, 3) pressing the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys and then pressing the "Window Switcher" key and selecting a window or dialog box with the crosshair, 4) using the "Capture Screen" tool in the status area, or 5) pressing the "Power" and "Volume down" buttons on a touchscreen Chromebook. The screenshot will be saved to the Downloads folder as a PNG file.
