Creationism is the belief that the universe and everything in it were created by a god or gods. Christianity, Judaism and Islam all share the same story of creation but many other religions and traditions have similar issues. New Ager's is the latest version of the creation theory that replaces God's view of the most intelligent person / people or spirit with the purpose and direction of all things. The basic problem with creationism is the need for the modern mind to accept unsubstantiated mythological teachings, or to base their beliefs on faith.
