Usually, goldfish will expand to fill their tank. It will be a little goldfish and possibly pass away shortly if your tank is small. The fish may become very enormous if you have a really large aquarium. Water needs to be changed frequently. A hormone that is responsible for controlling the growth of goldfish is produced. When the water is not changed regularly enough, this hormone is released.
