Due to severe weather, notably heavy rain, the final match of IPL 2023, originally scheduled for May 28th between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings, had to be postponed for May 29th. The IPL 2023 Final Match would be hosted at GT's home venue, Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Chennai Super Kings are in the finals for the tenth time, while GT is in the finals for the second time. GT and CSK have been head-to-head contenders in the IPL 2023, with both teams consistently aiming for first place in the IPL Points Table 2023.
