Plethora of diseases can be treated by antibiotic drugs, vaccines, hormones etc. Additionally, there are respective enzymes and proteins whose dysfunction leads to certain diseases those are encoded by particular genes. If a gene is mutated it result in malfunction of the protein or its deficient production. This can be treated by replacing the gene itself or therapeutic approach to regain or repair the mechanism using recent genetic tools identified.
