The majority of people find phone talks to be very difficult. Why? Because we are unable to observe the other person's body language or watch their mouth while they are speaking over the phone, both of which are effective communication techniques. Start small with phone conversations with friends to gain greater confidence, then progress to more difficult calls like scheduling appointments or making enquiries.
