Atwood’s Machine
Abstract:
Hypothesis statement: Through usage of Atwood’s Machine, determination the acceleration due to gravity.
Hypothesis test statement: We made a set up that contained a pulley system. Different masses having various values were hanged on this system and we noted the measurements needed to fulfill our goal. At the end, we got the values of acceleration due to gravity.
Results statement: Through the help of the readings taken in data and analysis of this experiment, we got the final results in the form of the average acceleration due to gravity through the help of a linear equation.

We collected our data in the form of the values of two masses given in the table as under.

Conclusion (Uncertainty Discussion):
In order to fulfill and to gain the goal of the experiment, we have followed each and every step according to the given instructions. There was uncertainty factor present in each value that we calculated. But with the help of the proper adjustment with each measurement, we have overcome the error for every value. In this way, we became able to get the end outputs.
We learnt a lot of knowledge from this experiment that will provide us guidance for the future real problems and experiments.
