Today we will talk about how to stay fit by doing yoga. Ashtanga yoga is that type of yoga which was urbanized and established by K. It was done by Pattabhi Jois. This type of yoga is known as eight-limbed yoga which revolves around the vast idea of Patanjali. It presented that the path to purification is made up of eight spiritual practices.
The first four limbs representing Ashtanga Yoga are – Yama, Niyama, Asana and Pranayama. These are considered cleaning practices that can be improved externally. The second group of limbs - Pratyahara, Dhyana, Dharana are internal practices.
These organs can be cured only by proper use of Ashtanga Yoga method. This type of yoga method is very dangerous for the mind.
Of. Pattabhi Jois said that it is not possible to practice these eight limbs and its sub-limbs of external exercises which include niyamas and yamas. In doing so, the body must be strong enough to perform the exercise. If the body is weak and the sense organs are not working properly then practicing will never be useful to the person.
Of. The philosophy that Pattabhi Jois has implemented is that you should keep in mind that after doing this Ashtanga yoga the body will improve and it will be strong and healthy.
Vinsaya and Tristhan are practiced in Ashtanga Yoga.
Vinyasa is the style that makes Ashtanga and its principles different from others. Vinyasa means the movement and breath that is used for the inner cleansing process. Each movement performed is accompanied by only one breath. Sweat is the most important product of Vinyasa. When you sweat, it only means that you are applying the exercise successfully. When you do asanas, heat is generated in the body which makes your blood boil and flush out the toxins from the body. Toxins are found in your sweat. So the more you sweat, the more toxins are released.
These yogasanas are used to develop the strength and health of the body completely. A series of exercises make this possible. Three postures are used in Ashtanga Yoga.
All three are classified at different levels.
The first is the primary series which also aims to align and detoxify the body.
The second is the opening and clearing of the intermediate chain energy channels which is the process of purifying the nervous system.
The final series will be the advanced series from A to D. In this series, grace and strength are measured.
Tristhana is another yoga principle that represents the union of the three realms of action and meditation. The first is the posture, the second is the breathing technique, and the last is the vision of the place to be seen. To do any work these three should work together.
The breathing techniques are simultaneous and synchronized. It is important to take a single breath for one movement. Ujjayi breathing is a yogic breathing technique used in the application of Ashtanga yoga. This technique should be applied for a long time after each exercise. What you need to master is to maintain your posture for a long time and at the same time hold your breath. This is a wonderful breathing exercise that will increase your inner fire and strengthen the nervous system.
Both Ashtanga and Tristhana belong to the series of visions. Drishti is described as the point on which you focus your attention while doing the asana. By this your mind becomes clearly pure and stable.
Clearing and purifying the mind can only be done in eight-limbed yoga or Ashtanga yoga.
