Data is the lifeblood of AI.

This data can be in any format, from text, images, videos, and even audio. The greater the diversity in the data, the more the system is able to learn.

  1. Cleaning and preparing the data

Data, in its raw form, is highly disorganized. It must be cleaned and organized before any useful analysis can be performed.

It's put through a cleansing process in which missing values are dealt with, duplicates are eliminated, and everything is organized in a consistent manner.

  1. System Training

It's time for the learning setap.

The algorithms analyse the data, identify trends and modify themselves through the data. Streams of data can be thought of as exercises. The more data the model streams, the more exercise type data the model accumulates, and the better it becomes at making predictions.

Learning is not a singular

Occasionally, the system is provided with data with pre-defined outputs. Other times, it is provided with \an open and undefined data set and is expected to determine a solution by itself. Still, at other times, the data is in the form of data that contains rewards and punishments.

After training is completed, the system will actually do.

It will take the data in its processed form and the result will be outputs in the form of predictions, suggestions, and classifications. This process is where AI is largely applied in solving real-word problems.

AI doesn't remain static after training. The system continues to evolve and improve. AI continues to evolve as it is provided with new data. This is the reason AI these days is more competent as compared to AI that was available a couple of years ago.

This is what we use these days.

Narrow AI is narrow and focused. It is only designed to do a specific thing, such as perform as a virtualvoice assistant, recommendation engine, or perform as an image recognizer. It only does single-task. but the task is done well.

General AI

This is the ideal and ultimate.

To develop a system that will be able to perform thought processes, learning, and the application of such knowledge is the ultimate and ideal goal. It is not applied at the present.

Artificial Superintelligence

This also extends even more.

No level of AI has reached a point where machines can problem-solve, be creative, or make independent decisions. At this point, it is still more of a theory than proven concept.
