Arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis is a difficult disease that can cause pain, swelling and fatigue. It can affect your whole life too. It can affect your family, everyday work, recreational activities. It can even shorten your life. People are afraid of rheumatoid arthritis. And are also afraid of the disability and lameness caused by it. Fortunately, in most women, rheumatoid arthritis can be controlled and its impact on you and your future can be limited.

In today's article, we will give information about your joints, about Arthritis in general and about Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Joint-
One important difference between a jelly-fish and you are your skeleton - your bones and joints! Bones give your body its structure, and joints connect your bones together and help your body move. Without joints, your body will be like a statue, that is, your body cannot bend.
The joint is formed by the ends of 2 bones which are covered with an element called cartilage, and it is inside a tube-like capsule. The capsule of most joints has an upper layer called the synovial membrane. Which has two major processes.
The cells that make up the synovial membranes release substances that lubricate the joints and also remove waste from regular cuts.
What is Arthritis?
Arthritis means inflammation of the joint is painful, and it is a very common medical problem. Arthritis is different from arthralgia, which refers to the pain or pain that we feel when we wake up from sleep or after exercise. If the pain or suffering is like a light rain of summer. So Arthritis is like a storm and Rheumatoid Arthritis is like a storm.
Different types of arthritis occur as a result of problems in different parts of the joint – bone, cartilage and synovial membrane. Just like your car can break down due to many reasons. As a result of bone damage, the cartilage is abnormally destroyed, damaged and inflamed. Osteoarthritis occurs when the cartilage is damaged. Arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis occurs as a result of inflammation of the synovial membranes or the lining of the joints.
There are more than 100 known causes of arthritis. For example, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, pseudo-gout and lupus are common while others are rare. There are different types of arthritis depending on the population and gender.
For example, osteoarthritis is more common in the elderly. Rheumatoid arthritis and lupus are more common in women. Gout is more common in men. Ankylosing spondylitis is more common in some Indian castes. Genes, hormones and age all play a role in determining in which person arthritis develops.
At what age does rheumatoid arthritis occur?
Arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis is one of the most common and serious types of arthritis. Arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis affects all ages and all races. Overall, it affects about 1% of the population. But it is more in women than in men.
Rheumatoid arthritis can also occur in children and adolescents. But it usually starts between the age of 25 to 60 years. However, it can also start at the age of 80- 90 years.
Rheumatoid arthritis is becoming more common nowadays than before, hence it has also been called a modern disease. However, sometimes in hundreds of years old skeletal remains, rheumatoid arthritis is found. Direct rheumatism Rheumatoid arthritis is more common in some ancient communities than in others. It is believed that the cause of rheumatism here must have been some kind of infection.
The cause of rheumatoid arthritis is unknown, but inflammation within the joints can permanently damage or even destroy the connective tissue. Arthritis The damage and disability caused by rheumatoid arthritis depend on its type and on how quickly treatment is given.
Some people think that there is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis and that nothing can be done for it. In fact, the truth is quite the opposite. Rheumatoid arthritis can be successfully treated in most people. Especially when treatment is started early.
However, there is still a misconception about rheumatoid arthritis, which can lead to delays in treatment, which can be dangerous and sometimes people take harmful treatment of quack.
Arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis primarily affects the synovial joints of the body. Mostly, the joint is affected equally or almost equally in both the parts of the body. Often the effects of arthritis are worse in the more dominant part of the body.
Gout disease is reflected by the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis.
Pain, swelling, heat and stiffness are caused by inflammatory cells and chemicals affecting the ends of the veins. Arthritis In rheumatoid arthritis, pain is experienced in the joints or with movement of the joints. Swelling occurs due to thickening of the synovial membrane and sometimes due to the increase of fluid and waste within the joints. Heat and redness occur as a result of increased blood flow towards the swollen joints. After some rest, there is stiffness in almost all the inflamed joints, which is commonly called morning stiffness.
This rheumatic disease is particularly common in rheumatoid arthritis. Morning stiffness can last from a few hours to the whole day. In order to regain normal mobility, inflamed joints should be loosened by applying heat to the joints or by exercising.
Arthritis What are the causes of rheumatoid arthritis?
Arthritis The specific cause of rheumatoid arthritis remains a mystery. But there are some indications which we will discuss now.
Infection or diet-
All these facts have been considered by many research works. However, no infection, toxic chemicals or food ingredients that directly affect rheumatism have been known. It is possible that some patients have suffered from infection or chemicals in the past. But, this is not the case with most of the patients. Almost all patients have done or experienced something like this in the first few weeks or months after the onset of rheumatoid arthritis. Which they consider to be the cause of their disease, but this fact seems to be mere coincidence and unrelated.
Genetic-
We inherit all our characteristics physical, mental and emotional from our parents through genes. Certain genes make you more susceptible to developing diseases such as diabetes. Gout also has a genetic basis from rheumatoid arthritis, with most patients carrying the HLA-DR4 gene. Genes can be measured by a simple blood test. The HLA-DR4 gene is hereditary, which makes a family history of rheumatoid arthritis more common. Certain variants or alleles of this gene may be helpful in predicting or predicting the potential outcome of rheumatoid arthritis.
Hormones-
Arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis affects women more than men. It is interesting to note that rheumatoid arthritis often occurs after pregnancy or sometimes during hormone changes, possibly due to hormonal differences. Although we are unable to understand the causal relationship between hormones, the immune system and the development of rheumatoid arthritis. But we do know that such a relationship exists.
The stress-
Arthritis Rheumatoid arthritis often develops after stress. We do not know why this happens, but there is sudden swelling, pain and stiffness in the joints. We all know that stress affects the immune system and can change it in a very effective way. It can even damage it.
The things we can control and those we can't both cause stress. We all have different abilities to handle stress. Chronic disease like rheumatoid arthritis Controlling stress becomes even more important as it can be helpful in controlling arthritis. A simpler and less stress-free life often improves rheumatoid arthritis, and reduces the need for medication and therapy.
Climate-
Certain environments may exacerbate rheumatoid arthritis, although the incidence of rheumatoid arthritis is the same in most parts. But with the changing seasons, the cold, moist climate adds to the pain. Pollution also has a subtle effect on Rheumatoid Arthritis; many patients moving from highly polluted cities to villages experience almost immediate relief from the pain of arthritis. Reduced stress is also a factor behind this.
Damage to joints due to arthritis
We do not know the cause of rheumatoid arthritis, but the damage to the joints is reached through inflammation in the synovial membrane. Inflammation occurs in this thin synovial membrane, and it is filled with cells called lymphocytes, macrophages, poly morphs and fibroblasts. This thick flammable mucous membrane is called the pannus. Cells within the pannus are activated, and they release enzymes and chemicals that both permanently damage cartilage and bone and also attract more cells to the inflamed tissue. In rheumatoid arthritis, this inflammatory process is like a one-way path. The inflammation progresses infinitely, causing more and more damage, possibly leading to joint dislocation and even disability.
The process of inflammation is a part of the body's immune system. The immune system is the body's natural defense against aggressive diseases such as bacteria, viruses and cancer. The cells of the immune system recognize and respond to invasive diseases either by producing antibodies to fight aggressively or by attacking them directly.
The immune system is usually activated by an external agent, but it can also be activated to affect normal cells. For unknown reasons, in rheumatoid arthritis, the immune system becomes active and causes excessive inflammation of the synovial membrane. Many drugs used to fight rheumatoid arthritis have antibacterial and immune system activity.
What is the age of onset of gout?
Rheumatoid arthritis can occur at any age but mostly starts between 20 and 30 years of age or early 30 years, or later it starts at 50-60 years of age. Both of these age groups are characterized by hormonal changes and periods of intense fatigue, so the intensity of rheumatoid arthritis varies according to the age of onset of the period. The onset of disease after the age of 50 means mild disease.
