Apples Vs Androids Which One Is Better? : The Endgame

Introduction

iPhone vs Android, Apple vs Samsung, Google vs iOS, etc. All of these have very different meanings, however, are used for the same debate, Android devices vs Apple Devices. This is not a newly originated debate, and has been going on for years. This article will contain the pros and cons of each. How one is better than the other, etc.

Android Vs iOS

These are the two main mobile operating systems, most phones that weren't manufactured by Apple use the Android operating system, whereas all Apple electronic devices use iOS.

In terms of security, iOS destroys Androids. It's not even up for debate, iOS security is much better than that of Android. However, this also makes iOS a very restricted environment, due to which, many Apple users who have more use of their phone than just texting and scrolling social media, prefer to Jailbreak their device. Androids, on the other hand, have a much more liberal system, which also makes them more prone to viruses.Tech geeks mostly go for androids or Jailbreak their Apple devices, if they prefer apple more.

Samsung vs iPhone

Specifications

(For this comparison, I'll be using the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G and iPhone 13 Pro max)

Both phones are already top-notch, built with premium material and are really durable. But let's dig a little deeper. When it comes to processor, the Samsung S22 Ultra uses the Exynos 2200, an 8 core processor. The iPhone 13 pro max, however, uses the A15 bionic, a 6 core processor. The Exynos 2200 is also a nanometer shorter than the A15 bionic's 5 nm processor. However, despite these lackings, the A15 bionic still manages to out-perform the Exynos 2200 in all 4 tests conducted by nano review. (See for yourself : https://nanoreview.net/en/soc-compare/samsung-exynos-2200-vs-apple-a15-bionic)

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 5000 mAh battery, quite larger than Apple's 4352 mAh battery. However, the A15 bionic is much more battery efficient. Thus, you won't be able to really notice the difference.

When it comes to the display, the Samsung is 0.1 inches taller, but that's really not a big difference. However, things get interesting when we dig deeper into the display of both phones. The Samsung has a better resolution, 1440x 3088, compared to Apples 1284x2778. Furthermore, the Samsung uses an AMOLED and Apple, on the other hand, uses and OLed display. AMOLED is generally considered the superior one due to a few reasons. "The AMOLED display has a higher quality than OLEDs since it has an additional layer of TTs and uses backplane technologies. When compared to OLED screens, AMOLED displays are far more flexible. As a result, they are substantially more expensive than an OLED display." Price Point

Both phones cost over a thousand American dollars. A thousand dollars for a mobile phone might sound like a stretch, but the thing is that these phones aren't made specifically for the upper class. Both companies have a sort of budget friendly series for the middle class, A series by Samsung and the SE series by Apple. However, this isn't enough to stop the middle class from purchasing these phones, simply to fit in with the 'cool people'. Terrible financial management.

Conclusion

Buy what you think is better. Both companies engage in a healthy competition which ensures quality products. If only were to go extinct, the other would become complacent. Also, Google, the parent company/ owner of Android, actually 'loves' Apple. They paid Apple 15 billion American dollars to make sure that Google remains the default search engine on Apple devices. My opinion is that fighting over the 2 is just toxic, engaging in friendly arguments/discussions, however, is just a conversational topic. And making memes about the other party is just part of the fun of freedom of speech . :)
