Apple Intelligence, the company's AI-powered personal intelligence system, has officially arrived in India. It adds a slew of smart features to Macs, iPhones, and iPads. Users can now take advantage of AI-enhanced writing tools, smarter photos, improved Siri, and more with the most recent updates to IOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, and macOS Sequoia 15.4, all of which are intended to simplify day-to-day tasks while keeping privacy in mind. Some of the features that are currently available in India include: Writing Tools: Apple Intelligence can rewrite, proofread, or summarise text across apps like Mail, Messages, Notes, and even third party apps. You can also change your voice to make your messages more friendly, concise, or professional. The Smarter Photos App: Have you ever taken a fantastic picture only to have an unwelcome object ruin it? You can get rid of distractions while still keeping the essence of the image with the Clean Up tool. With Apple Intelligence curating the ideal storyline, you can now create photo-based movies using the Memories feature by simply typing a description. Image Playground and Genmoji: Create custom emojis (Genmoji) that look like your friends and family or express yourself with AI-generated images in various styles (Animation, Illustration, Sketch). Call Recording, Transcription, and Summaries: The Phone and Notes apps now let you record calls, transcribe them, and even make AI-powered summaries of them. These are useful for meetings, interviews, or just remembering important details from a conversation. Smarter Mail and Notifications: Priority Messages in Mail highlight urgent emails, and notification summaries on the Lock Screen make it simpler to check for important updates without becoming overwhelmed. Sir with ChatGPT: The virtual assistant from Apple now has a better understanding of context, which makes conversations feel more natural and fluid. In India, how to download Apple Intelligence To access Apple Intelligence, make sure your device is updated to the latest software:
Go to Settings → General → Software Update and install iOS 18.4, iPadOS 18.4, or macOS Sequoia 15.4.
Apple Intelligence models will begin downloading on your device once it has been updated (for the fastest download experience, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi and a power source). Go to Settings, select Apple Intelligence & Siri, and then turn on Apple Intelligence if you're using an earlier version that supports it. For ChatGPT integration, go to Settings → Siri & Search and enable ChatGPT access (optional)
