This shopping guide can help you compare and contrast these two high-end wireless earbuds to determine which is best for you.

Who should buy the AirPods Pro

Apple iPhone 14 Pro (3 GB RAM, 16 GB) is the best device for people with light needs because it has better battery life than other iPhones and is cheaper than the iPhone 14 Pro Max (6 GB RAM, 128 GB). Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is the best device for power users who need a device that can keep up with them at their most busy.

Who should buy the AirPods Pro Max

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is perfect for those who are constantly on the go and need a phone that has the best battery life. The Apple iPhone 14 Pro is also a great choice for those who value performance over battery life but not to the extent of the iPhone 15 Plus.

High-fidelity audio is provided by a dynamic driver created by Apple, and Active Noise Cancellation reduces background noise, so you can fully enjoy the song.

The sound quality

Both the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max and the AirPods Pro are said to have great sound quality; however, the main difference is that the Apple iPhone 14 has a headphone jack, whereas the AirPods require a wireless connection. Furthermore, depending on your type of earbuds or headphones, you may be better off with an adapter if you plan on using wired earbuds with your smartphone.

The mechanics were a little too difficult for the original AirPods. It was difficult to obtain an adequate bass response from them without turning the tuning all the way up and without the correct ear tips. That resulted in a massive bass boost and a smaller boost in the high treble sounds, making the originals seem a little muddy and making everything more harsh and unbalanced. The AirPods Pro sound much more pleasant, largely due to the ear tips. On The Beatles' song Oh Darling, the hard-panned guitar stabs shriek through with gorgeous detail, but they never drown out Paul McCartney's bouncy bass line or the shimmering piano chords on the left side of the sound.

Battery life

The first major difference between the AirPods Pro and the AirPods Pro Max is its battery life. With a regular charge, the first-generation AirPods last for five hours. The second generation can go for four hours with a 15-minute charge, and the third generation (the newly announced ones) last for five hours off of a 15-minute charge--similar to the previous generations.
As far as battery life goes, the differences are subtle but significant.

User interface controls

When holding the right AirPods down, you can pause and play music, answer or end calls, or activate Siri or Google Assistant. You can change the volume with a double tap. By double tapping the left earbud, you will receive your latest notification without touching your phone.

Wireless charging

The one thing the two devices have in common is that they both offer up to an hour of talk time on just 10 minutes of charging, thanks to their W1 chip and charging case (the case doubles as a wireless charger). While this is true for the regular AirPods and the Pro model, it's a little more complicated with the new AirPods Pro Max.

The design

Apple has done an excellent job in designing these earbuds as they are very lightweight and fit securely in the ears. Moreover, because of their size, they can be carried around conveniently in your pocket. Their use is made convenient by the fact that there is no cord that needs to be wound up like other earbuds, and with just a touch of a button, you can pause or play music with ease.
