Then turn the camper up (some models have motorized cranks to save arm training); pull out and secure the sleeping surfaces at both ends; and pull out and secure the pull-out areas if your pop-up camper is equipped with them.
Make sure you pull out the stabilizers or your camper will tip over on one end when someone is in it. I speak from my own experience on this topic. During last year's camping trip, I went in our pop-up camper and went over to one end to retrieve something from our storage area. Suddenly the caravan tipped over on its side. It was scary, but everything was fine. The extended bed on this end of the camper kept the camper from tipping more than a few feet, but now it's part of my job to make sure the stabilizers are pulled down on every camping trip we take!
