Azerbaijan, located in the Caucasus area, is a country that spans both Eastern Europe and Western Asia, so anticipate a clash of east meets west and plenty to enjoy here. Baku

Absheron National Park

Absheron National Park, located in Baku's Ezizbeyov area, comprises 783 hectares of protected territory and is the ideal site to view Azerbaijan's beautiful flora and animals. Gazelles, birds, jackals, badgers, and Caspian seals are among the indigenous fauna found in the national park. The topography here is largely arid steppe, which lends itself to lovely undulating sand dunes and wind-swaying reed grass. The seas are also renowned to be clean and teeming with fauna, including the rare sea snake. If you want to see the famous Caspian seals, you should travel between September and November:

Mud Volcano

The mud volcano is unique in nature and is regarded as a strange natural phenomena of Azerbaijan. These mineral-rich volcanoes are located in Baku's desert area, along the Caspian Sea's coast. Volcanoes form when gases beneath the ground build up and push mud up into the air as a release. The earliest mud volcanoes are said to have erupted in Azerbaijan 25 million years ago, and tourists to Garasu frequently comment that it looks like the moon's surface. These mud volcanoes, known for their therapeutic properties, are not simple to access yet assure that one may have a fantastic time discovering them:

Gobustan

Gobustan, which has an ancient cromlech, is sometimes considered to as the Azerbaijani equivalent of Stonehenge in the United Kingdom (a circle of stones that have been positioned vertically). The Caspian Sea

The Caspian Sea, despite its name, is really the world's biggest lake, measuring 371,000 square kilometres. The Caspian Sea rests on what appears to be an ocean bed, and the water is salty, albeit the saline content is lower than that of other seas and oceans, making it ideal for swimming because it is less prone to cause discomfort. Bot cruises, diving, and fishing are popular activities on the Caspian Sea:

Sheki City

This site, located west of Baku, is renowned as one of the earliest human settlements in the Caucasus, dating back 2500 years. Sheki City was a Silk Road destination known for its excellent silks and other textiles. This culture is still very much alive in Sheki City today, with elaborate embroidery and other local handicrafts available to visitors. Aside from the arts and crafts, this city contains castles, mosques, and even historic bathhouses, as well as the Palace of the Seki Khans, which has remained since the 18th century. When you realize that the palace was built entirely without the use of nails, it becomes even more astounding as an architectural marvel. When you arrive, be sure to look at the stunning wall murals and carved windows:

Yanardag

Visit Yanardag to observe the so-called flaming flame outlets. Yarnadag means "fire mountain," because the hills here appear to be perpetually ablaze due to gas deposits beneath the surface of the sandstone. Visitors throng to this magnificent natural phenomena around twilight, when the flames are most apparent, and the region is also densely packed with small tea shops where you can relax in comfort and enjoy the show while sipping a local beverage. Yanardag differs from the mud volcanoes seen elsewhere in Azerbaijan in that there are no deposits of lava or mud erupting from the hills, and the location is also religiously significant:

Goyazan Mountain

This mountain is located on the Northwestern side of the Qazak district, near the outlying settlements of Abbasbayli and Alpout. The Goyazan mountain, which stands at 857.9 meters above sea level, is surrounded by magnificent undulating meadows and plains, creating a gorgeous vista. One of the finest things to do in Azerbaijan is go trekking.
