Acne mainly affects people in the age group of 12 to 24 years. The cause of acne is difficult to determine. However, excessive secretion of sebaceous glands is often blamed for the spread of acne.
Pilosebaceous units are a combination of hair follicles and oil glands in the skin. In addition to the surface of the palms and soles of the feet, pylocytic units are found on skin tissues throughout the body. They are responsible for removing the oily substance called sebum. However, due to many factors (eg hormonal imbalance, stress and natural skin condition) the oil glands may be more prone to produce more sebum than usual. When this happens, the excess oil closes the pores of the skin. This process causes bacterial infections and triggers the immune system's response. Finally, the consequences of acne inflammation.
Acne can affect any skin type. Oily skin type is most affected by acne. Dry skin, on the other hand, may not be very sensitive, but can cause serious outbreaks during the winter. Normal-skin is velvety, with no acne and even in color
Currently, acne is not completely curable, but acne can be treated with a number of skin care methods. Many people seek the help of topical medications, which are applied to the skin surface. However, the use of acne skin care products such as "Porer Strip Pads" can remove whiteheads and blackheads but will not affect the extra sebum they produce.
However, for treatment and prevention, it is best to follow the following 8 simple tips:
1. It is important to observe a healthy, well-balanced diet. Therefore, your diet should include all the essential nutrients that the body needs to function properly.
2. Drink plenty of fluids such as water, juice. Minimize the use of carbonated beverages.
3. No makeup is recommended.
4. Wash your face with mild soap and water. The rationale is not to remove the dirt (as most people with acne think) but to remove the plug on the pores of the skin, which can be a combination of dead skin cells, bacteria and hard sebum. Although dirt is not really the cause of acne, it can cause further infections by interacting with skin debris and particles and excess oil in the skin.
5. Use topical cleansing pads that may contain one or a combination of the following: salicylic acid, sulfur and benzol peroxide to remove excess oil. Another way to reduce the presence of excess oil in the skin is to wash your face with the warmest water you can afford.
6. Minimize the use of harsh cleansers and use acne skin care products that go lightly. Do not clean the affected areas thoroughly.
7. If your hands are dirty, avoid touching your face.
8. If you have long hair, tie your hair in such a way that it stays away from the face. This is especially true if the weather is hot and you are sweating.
Preventing acne skin care measures is just as important as treating acne itself. With prevention, at least, you know how to make sure your acne problem doesn't get worse and spread to a larger affected area.
