It slows back global warming. Our world is beginning to feel the effects of global warming already - and we need to do it… Recycling is like physical exercise: we all know we have to do it, but not all of us do it as often as we can - and some do not.
However, there are many reasons why you should make an effort to reuse as much as possible. If you have not already done so, here are seven good reasons why you should start.
1)Global warming effects
Our planet is beginning to feel the effects of global warming already - and we need to do everything we can to minimize the impact.
2)Production of certain substances
The production of certain substances from the beginning can release a significant amount of CO2 into the air. Production of aluminum is a good example - producing new aluminum creates 95% more CO2 than recycled old aluminum cans.
In addition, recycled paper saves trees - for every ton of recycled paper, 17 trees are stored. Each of these trees could emit some 300 pounds [250 kg] of carbon dioxide a year. It makes us use electricity more. It usually takes a lot more energy to create something from scratch than to reuse it. Especially near cities. Maritime cities have been dumping waste on their oceans for decades to curb the problem, but this is no longer a viable option with widespread marine ecosystems.
Worse, it is difficult to find land in urban and rural areas whose residents allow landfills to enter their areas without war. Garbage dumping will be worse in the future. Renewal gives us hope for this dire situation. Studies show that 60% to 75% of the garbage in landfills can be reused. That means that if everyone reworked, we would have 60% to 75% less waste in our landfills, and we would need at least that much smaller dump.
4)Improves the quality of our groundwater.
Garbage in landfills is usually not handled in any way - thrown into a large pit and buried on top. Much of this waste does not save the environment or is easily killed — and it is not surprising that pollution can get into our water. Reuse these materials will be less need for new construction companies - saving on the amount of waste thrown into our atmosphere. It is easy to get discouraged with so many good reasons, especially if the problem is so widespread that it is difficult to see just how much effort you put into each one.

But the fact that small reuse actions make a big difference. For example, reusing a single prominent newspaper can save up to 75,000 trees. On average, each person in the U.S. It produces about 1,600 lbs. waste every year. If you renew all that, you can save about 1,100 kg. Waste per year - that's more than half a ton - alone!
